Björn Hagströmer is Professor of Finance and Director of Research Studies at Stockholm Business School (SBS). He joined SBS after obtaining his PhD degree at Aston Business School (Birmingham, UK) in 2010. Teaching Björn is the course director of Financial Market Structure (FMS).

Dedicated to old and rare books in the history of medicine and allied sciences, the library was founded in 1997. The new Folkform bookends are the first objects in the new collection based on the research process that began in the Hagströmer library in Stockholm. Each new piece is a result of the dialogue with the experts working there. The bookends is manufactured by Skultuna which a Swedish producer of fine metal objects. In 2021, the Hagströmer Library will focus on art and artists. Beginning in the spring with an exhibition of illustrations in books and prints within the library's own collections, featuring some of art history's most famous figures, created by our curator Anna Lantz.

Located in the old Haga courthouse in Solna, the Library brings together old and rare book collections from Karolinska Institutet and the Swedish Society of Medicine under one roof.
